These combs are handmade using sheep’s horns or cattle horns.

Keratin is a component that makes up hair, nails, and the stratum corneum of the skin. It is a type of protein made up of multiple amino acids bonded together. About 90% of human hair is made up of keratin. Sheep and cattle horns are also made of keratin.

because human hair fibres and animal horn are both made of the protein called keratin, the animal keratin fibres remove small particles and static electricity that have entered the open cuticle of the hair *this causes to close tightly, making the surface of the hair smooth and restoring shine to the hair. Also, for Japanese and Asian people, the hair itself is dry, so adding lanolin contained in sheep’s horns to the hair makes it soft and smooth.

Lanolin is a moisturising ingredient secreted by animals covered with wool (sheep, alpacas, etc.) to protect themselves from the climate and environment.
The lanolin contained in the comb will not decrease.
The density of the keratin fibres. By increasing the density of the keratin fibres, the finer keratin fibres can remove dirt and static electricity from the hair cuticle and make the cuticle stronger. There are three types.

  • Pocket handle (15cm~16cm)

When hair oil penetrates into the hair, it penetrates into the hair cuticle, and each cuticle that absorbs the oil expands. Then, the hair becomes swollen and the cuticle does not close. Hair oil oxidises 6 hours after application, causing hair to dry out and become brittle.

Please refrain from using the comb with hair oil. This is because hair that has absorbed hair oil becomes swollen and the cuticles do not close. Also, hair covered in hair oil cannot absorb lanolin, so the comb cannot function as it should. It will be impossible to do so.
We also sell shampoo soap that gradually removes hair oil.
We recommend that you choose a product that is slightly alkaline (pH 7+) and does not contain surfactants or hair oils.
No, using a shampoo brush on wet hair can cause hair breakage. Also, friction can cause hair to break. Please refrain from doing so as will cause more hair damage and hair loss.
Please refrain from using leave-in treatments as they can cause your hair to oxidise and dry out while you sleep, making your hair brittle and frizzy. Oxidation of hair can also cause it to smell bad
Wet your hair thoroughly and apply shampoo to it. First, wash your scalp, then massage your hair with the foam. Pulling your hair while it is wet during shampooing can cause it to break. When heated, hair becomes more fragile, so please wash it as gently as you would wash silk clothing.
If you have been using hair oil for a long time, it will take time for your hair to repair. The oil that has been stuck to the ends of your hair over time will dry out your hair, expand it, and prevent the cuticle from closing. If this is the case, it will take time for the comb to be effective. Also, some shampoos and conditioners contain hair oil, so be sure to check the ingredients carefully and use one that does not contain hair oil.
We only sell our horn combs that have passed the strength test, but if the teeth of the comb are chipped or damaged, please take a photo of the comb along with the certificate and contact Beautyandthebeast.expert. onelane@beautyandthebeast.expert *Please also keep all damaged parts of the comb.* We may charge you for repairs at our discretion. We also provide free maintenance and comb cleaning services if you bring your comb to our store but if you are contacting us from overseas or your living area, you will be responsible for the shipping costs to your home and back.
If you leave your comb with us when you come here, we will clean and polish it for free. (From 11:00am to 2:00pm) It will take 30 minutes to complete. In that case, please contact us in advance to arrange this service.

Returns due to change of mind at own cost

Please note that

we cannot accept returns on products that have been used or if they have been damaged or soiled.

If you wish to return the product after opening, you must do so within 24 hours of opening. In that case, you will be responsible for the cleaning fee of $93, as well as shipping and handling fees.

In addition, we will not refund shipping and handling fees incurred when placing an order. We do not accept exchanges of products due to customer’s convenience (please place a new order after returning the product)
