① Scraping Stick

Without applying much pressure, gently scrape off the lumps of grease stuck to the comb teeth. Use the flat and round sides of the scraping stick to clean along the teeth’s surface from the inside out, using the tip to remove the dirt.

② Cleaning Brush

Gently insert the brush between the teeth, and from the inside out, remove any loose dirt or hardened white grease. Lift from the bottom up to remove the grease accumulated on the sides of the teeth.

③ Polishing Cloth

Fold the cloth in half and use the folded edge to clean the base of the comb and the sides of the teeth. Insert the cloth from the side, using the entire cloth from bottom to top, pulling it through. Repeat this for all the teeth.

④ Dust Brush

After using the polishing cloth, brush off any dirt left on the comb. Also, brush off any fine dirt on the base and sides of the comb’s teeth. If you still see dirt at the base of the teeth after brushing, clean the base again with the scraping stick.

⑤ Polishing Cloth

Use the entire cloth to polish the comb. For the back of the comb, the handle, any cloudy parts, and between decorations, fold the cloth in half and polish with some pressure from your fingers.

Maintenance Oil

Use the maintenance oil, which contains pure lanolin and organic coconut oil, to store combs not in use or to care for combs in poor condition due to dryness. Put enough maintenance oil in the provided bag to soak the comb and let it sit for about three days.
